ADRIANE'S STORY

Adriane was born in Munich, Germany where she began her life as an equestrian from the very start. Before she could walk, Adriane was already on horseback thanks to her mothers passion for dressage. 

While she had a rocky childhood , her love for horses kept her going through the dark times, and her mothers training business growing up gave her the opportunity to ride many different horses from a young age . Often given the difficult horses as that’s all they could afford , it gave Adriane the tools to work through challenging training problems and find a way to make it work from a young age . 

Adriane was an active Pony Clubber as a kid, having earned her USPC HB National rating , she spent her childhood years learning all she could about horses, horse care , and training . By 13 she earned her USDF Bronze Medal, by 16 her USDF Silver Medal, and by 21 her USDF Gold Medal. When Adriane turned 18, her family was unfortunately falling apart and Adriane was forced to leave home .

She left to go chase her dreams and never looked back. In order to support herself she drove around riding anything and everything she could, teaching lessons for next to nothing, and never saying no to any opportunity that came her way. By 19 she had saved up enough money to lease her first farm , and officially started her business, Adriane Alvord Dressage . Since the start of her business in 2013, Adriane has trained and Developed over a dozen horses to the FEI levels of dressage , and has helped countless riders achieve their USDF medals.
